What is a health coach?

As your health coach, I am the person on your healthcare team who specializes in behavior change.  We partner together in achieving your health goals.  I do not diagnose problems or dictate plans, but rather support you by using evidence-based techniques that facilitate behavior change.  I listen mindfully, share insights and observations, ask meaningful questions, collaborate on strategies, provide accountability, and help you develop a realistic plan.  

  • manage stress; create more balance

  • exercise more

  • eat healthier

  • improve energy; be more active

  • lower blood pressure or cholesterol

  • prevent or manage diabetes, heart disease or other chronic illnesses

  • quit smoking or reduce alcohol use

  • manage pain

  • manage health during life transitions


We use evidence-based techniques for behavior change, not trendy fads.


Whether you're action and goal -oriented or -avoidant, you will be set up for success.

Six group sessions meeting weekly for 3 sessions, then biweekly.

Included in services: Email support Monday – Friday during business hours.
